The 2023 Ag Business of the Year was awarded to Kennedy Ranch- Kelly Kennedy, Alexa Kennedy, Nik Kennedy, Holly Kennedy and Carl Lanore.

WHEATLAND – The first Annual Platte County Players Poetry reading was held at Tinker’s Flats Vineyard last Sunday. Eight people recited poems that ranged from topics such as cremation to ranch mechanics. From laugh out loud funny to tears running down faces powerful. Some pieces were original that had never been said out loud before, and some were old favorites that were dusted off to bring back some fond memories.
