James Douglass, 34, passed away December 13th, 2023, at the Mayo hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the beloved son of Robin McClain and Dick Douglass. James was also cherished by his stepfather, Russell McClain who played an integral role in his life and Shauna Johnson.

Dianna Marie Klein, 63, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at her home in Wheatland. Dianna was born on Saturday, May 14, 1960 in Douglasthe daughter of Tom and Billie (Bromley) Eggleston.

Billie Dale “Bill” Archie, age 93, of Philip, South Dakota, formerly of Wheatland, Wyoming died Sunday, December 24, in Philip.

A funeral service for Billie “Ann” Tatman, 94, was held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at First Christian Church in Wheatland with Pastor Casey Schroeder officiating. Interment was in the Wheatland Cemetery.

Dianna Marie Klein, 63, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at her home in Wheatland.

Karen Sue Owens was born August 24, 1957, in Axtell, Kansas to Ruby & Leroy Detimore. Karen was blessed with 6 sisters and 1 brother.

A memorial service for David Cain, 72, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 15, 2023 and the United Church of Christ in Wheatland. A reception will follow.

Steven Charles Schirmer, age 73, resident of Chugwater, left this life on November 23, 2023.

Fred McGuire, lifelong resident of Wheatland and Platte County, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the Platte County Legacy Home in Wheatland at the age of 93.

On December 5, 2023 Arnold “Buck” William Evans received his last call for service surrounded by his loving family at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland. Although it was his last call, his memory and legacy will forever be held.

Thomas “Tom” Gast, 76, a respected figure in the mining industry and a cherished member of the Wheatland community, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, in Wheatland.
