Jaime Lee Smith, age 47 of Alliance, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly at Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance on Friday, January 3rd, 2025. There are no services planned at this time.
Jaime Lee Smith was born on July 11, 1977, in Wheatland to Cindy Sue Silvester and Edwin Bennett. She married Wes Smith and they had 3 children together. Jaime spent time living in Wyoming, Colorado, and in most recent years, living in the panhandle of Nebraska. Jaime had a heart of gold and a drive to succeed that left imprints wherever she went. She’ll be remembered for her contagious laugh, her witty humor, and being able to change the mood of a room with her smile and bubbly personality.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Edwin and Lawanda Bennett and Lee and Clara Silvester, her mother, Cindy Sue Silvester, and her sister Shelly Borm. She is survived by her husband, Wes Smith of Alliance, her three children Kassie Smith, Conner Smith, and Bailey Smith of Jacksonville, North Carolina, her father, Edwin (Debbra) Bennett of Sidney Nebraska, her sister, Stevie Thurow of Sidney, and nephew Wyatt Thurow of Sidney.
