FBLA students score at state, head to nationals

WHEATLAND – Several Wheatland High School students will be headed to national FBLA competition this summer.

The Future Business Leaders of America national leadership conference will be held in Orlando, Florida June 29 – July 2, and is “considered the pinnacle of the FBLA experience,” according to the national FBLA website. The students will “compete in leadership events, share successes and learn new ideas about shaping their career future through workshops and exhibits.”

The Wheatland FBLA team competed against 38 chapters and 700 members in March at the Wyoming FBLA state competition. The WHS competitors came away with some medals for their efforts. The visual design team took second place, the sports and entertainment management team took second, and the international business team took third.
