WHEATLAND – A classy Mother’s Day tea was hosted by Services for Seniors activities coordinator Carrie Kafka on Thursday afternoon.
In addition to tea, cheesecake and fancy fruit, The ladies were treated to a private ballet performance by Dance Wyoming dancers Leah Eaton, Emma Taylor and Halle Taylor.
“They did such an amazing job of dancing, and the senior ladies really enjoyed them performing for us! We’d love them to come back for another performance,” Kafka said.
Fun games of “what’s in your walker or purse,” “who has the most grandchildren,” and “most favorite hat” were also played.
“With all the rain it really felt like we were in England – beautiful spring weather to honor and celebrate Mother’s day!” Kafka concluded.
