A funeral service for David Judson Johnson, 63, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Wheatland Bible Church in Wheatland, with Pastor Jeremy Haroldson officiating.
David Johnson passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at the Anschutz Medical Center in Denver, Colorado.
David was born on December 20, 1961 in Clarkfield, Minnesota, the son of Lawrence Russell and Betty Jean (Paul) Johnson.
David entered into the United States Air Force and after 26 years of serving his country he retired in 2006. David did various jobs after he retired; he went to work for Capstone Construction, was a manager for Affordable Wilson Storage, and was a Deacon and treasurer for the Impact Ministries Church. He married Cynthia Gail Winders on November 27, 1999. They were married for 25 years.
Some of his hobbies were working with wood, building, camping, fishing, boating, and traveling.
David loved his family and was very active in church actives. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and was always there to help many people anyway he could. He was willing to give his time and advice in his building expertise, talents, and skills to all that needed him.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Johnson of Wheatland; stepsons, Benny (Amanda Potter) Glover II and Trampas (Anna) Glover; many grandchildren; siblings, Kris Johnson, Wade (Melissa) Johnson, Kerrie (Andy) Harms all of Minnesota, and Larry (Stephanie) Johnson of Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial to help with David’s medical expenses to the family, Cynthia Johnson, 740 Antelope Gap Road, Wheatland, WY 82201 would be appreciated by the family.
