Charlotte M. Welsh, 90, passed away peacefully May 1, 2026, at Torrington Community Hospital with her loving husband at her side. No public services are planned and cremation has taken place. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
Charlotte was born December 25, 1935, in Hartshorn, Oklahoma. She grew up alongside her two brothers and four sisters and attended school in Fort Lupton, Colorado.
Charlotte married the love of her life, Lawrence E. Welsh on Jan. 9, 1953. Charlotte enjoyed hunting big game and was an expert rifle shot. Over the years she bagged many big game trophies that she was very proud of.
Charlotte found joy and laughter in each and every part of life, but most of all Charlotte was a devoted housewife and talented at anything that she attempted to do.
She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Lawrence E. Welsh of Torrington and her two dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents.
