Comprehensive Summary of Platte County Commissioner Proceedings pursuant W.S. §18-3-516(a) – The Board of County Commissioners, Platte County, Wyoming, met on the 1st day of September 2026 in the county seat of Wheatland. Those present for the meeting were Steve Shockley, Commission Chairman; Ian Jolovich, Commissioner; John “Jeb” Baker, Commissioner; and Malcolm Ervin, County Clerk. Chairman Shockley called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Commissioner Jolovich motioned, seconded by Commissioner Baker, to approve the agenda as presented. The motion carried. Commissioner Baker motioned, seconded by Commissioner Jolovich, to approve the August 20th meeting minutes. The motion carried. Commissioner Baker motioned, seconded by Commissioner Jolovich, to approve the vouchers as presented. The motion carried. Since issuing the original encroachment licenses, Range Engineering moved their project and requested their encroachments be issued in new locations. Dispatching Agreement: Commissioner Baker motioned, seconded by Commissioner Jolovich, to approve the dispatching agreement with the Wyoming Military Department. The motion carried. GIS Mapping Agreement: Commissioner Baker motioned, seconded by Commissioner Jolovich, to approve a GIS agreement with Oxide Mapping. The motion carried. Courthouse Phase II Renovation: Commissioner Jolovich motioned, seconded by Commissioner Baker, to approve Change Order #3 and authorize Clerk Ervin to sign. The motion carried. There being no further business for board consideration, the meeting adjourned at approximately 9:15 AM.
