OLD JUNIOR HIGH BUILDING
Notice is hereby given that the Platte County School District #1 Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing concerning the future disposition of the Old Junior High building in Wheatland, Wyoming.
Date: September 14, 2026
Time: 5:00 p.m.
Location: District Board Room, 1350 Oak Street, Wheatland, WY
The Wyoming School Facilities Division has completed a Most Cost-Effective Remedy (MCER) study of the building. The hearing will provide information regarding the study and receive public comment on the future of the property, including potential abandonment, demolition, transfer, sale, or other disposition consistent with Wyoming law and state requirements.
The MCER study will be available for public review at the District Central Office and/or on the district website prior to the hearing.
Public comments are encouraged. Written comments may be submitted to Platte County School District #1, 1350 Oak Street, Wheatland, WY, by September 13, 2026.
