INVITATION TO BID FOR DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF BUILDINGS

The Town of Glendo, Wyoming, is seeking bids for the demolition of two buildings within the city limits. The structures have tested positive for asbestos. The responsible bidder shall demolish the building in accordance with industry standards and dispose of any materials as required by Wyoming law. The responsible bidder must work with the Town of Glendo and meet Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality asbestos division requirements for removal and disposal of asbestos materials.  All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA and environmental regulations.  Prior to demolition the responsible bidder shall remove all fixtures, furniture or movable property and make it available for public auction pursuant to Wyoming law.

The remaining materials shall be disposed of by the responsible bidder.  Following demolition, the foundation shall be removed, the property shall be filled and leveled to grade. The bid shall include a lump sum demolition cost, proof of licensure and insurance, statement of qualifications and prior demolition experience, proposed timeline for completion, identification of subcontractors (if any), and meet Wyoming law regarding wage, and bonding requirements.  A form of surety will be required for the bid. Any interested bidder shall contact the Town Clerk for the Town of Glendo for further bidding instructions. A bidders meeting will be held during the Town of Glendo’s workshop on May 21, 2026 at 2:30. Sealed bids must be received by Glendo Town Hall by mail, PO Box 396 or person, 114 S Yellowstone Hwy, Glendo, WY 82213, until 4:00 PM MST on  June 9, 2026. The sealed bids will then be opened at Glendo’s council meeting June 10,2026. Any bids received after the specified date and time will not be accepted or considered.  Any and all bids may be rejected by the governing body.
