TORRINGTON - The 3A East Conference Cross Country Championships were held last Thursday in Torrington at the Torrington Municipal Golf Course and both Wheatland High School’s girls and boys team were running.
“We had a rough and windy race in Torrington for our conference this week,” said Wheatland High School cross country coach Colt Goff. “However, all runners showed great character and we are excited for State this upcoming week.”
The girls team finished in seventh place and the boys team finished in eighth place, although the boys did not have enough runners to have a completed team score.
