NOTICE TO APPROPRIATORS OF
GROUND WATER
IN THE PLATTE COUNTY CONTROL AREA
The following groundwater application has been received in the State Engineer’s Office. Upon conclusion of advertising, this application will be considered by the Platte County Control Area Advisory Board for their recommendation.
CURT AND SHERRI ZIMMERER: Temporary Filing Number U.W. 46-3-348, the Zimmerer 1, proposes a new Miscellaneous Use well to be located in the SE ¼ NE ¼ of Sec 26, T26N, R68W, to be a redundant supply for an existing horse holding facility, dust control, and tree row watering; and a backup supply for three houses. The estimated well depth is 700 feet. This application requests a maximum instantaneous flow of 150 gallons per minute and a maximum volumetric quantity of 71 acre-feet/year.
Any objections to the granting of the application must be made in writing to the State Engineer, Attn: Ground Water Division, 122 W. 25th Street, Herschler Building 2W, Cheyenne, WY 82002. Objections must be received within ten (10) days of the final publication of this notice (September 9, 2023).
