Wheatland Middle School Re-Roof Project
The Platte County School District Number One, Board of Trustees, Wheatland, Wyoming, is receiving sealed proposals for the Wheatland Middle School Re-Roof Project. This project consists of a new roof overlay on top of an existing roof, at Wheatland Middle School, for Platte County School District No. 1. The size of the roof is approximately 77,930 square feet in plan view. The existing roof is a standing seam metal roof system. Two roof overlay options are being competitively bid against each other:
1. Option 1 – Polyurethane Foam Roof System
2. Option 2 - Standing Seam Roof System

First copies of the Contract Documents will be on file after July 31, 2023, and open to public inspection in the office of Plan One/Architects, 225 W Yellowstone Ave. Suite 4, Cody, WY.
Paper plans and specifications will not be available from the Architect or Owner. For electronic plans and specifications bidders must access the SFD Website at: stateconstruction.wyo.gov. Once you have reached the site click on “Projects”, click on “Listing of Upcoming and Current District Projects – Quest CDN”, to learn more on the project you are interested in, find the project which may be viewed and downloaded for a fee of $22.00. Deposits are non-refundable.
A project walk-thru is non-mandatory but suggested for all bidding prime contractors. One walk-thru will be held at 2600 W Mariposa Pkwy, Wheatland, WY 82201 on August 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Bidders may examine the site at other times by contacting Jamie Wilson, Business Manager, at 307-322-3175.
All proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the maximum amount of the proposal. Successful bidder to provide a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. Preference shall be given to Wyoming Contractors as defined by Wyoming Statutes, 1977, Section 16-6-101, in accordance with the provisions of Section 16-6-102. Attention is also called to the provisions of Section 16-6-103 with respect to sub-contractors by a successful bidder.
The Owner reserves the privilege of rejecting any or all proposals or waiving any irregularities or formalities in any proposal in the bidding. Sealed proposals marked ”Wheatland Middle School Re-Roof Project” on the outside of the envelope must be received by 2:00 P.M. August 17, 2023
