UNAPPROVED RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE

TOWN OF WHEATLAND A special meeting & budget hearing of the Council for the Town of Wheatland, Platte County, and State of Wyoming was held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 pursuant to the law.  Councilman Montoya called the public hearing to order at 5:00pm. With no public comment the public hearing adjourned at 5:03pm.  Mayor Pro-Tem Madsen called the special meeting to order at 5:03 p.m. The following were present at roll call: Councilman Kaufman, Allison, Madsen and Montoya. Clerk/Treasurer Candy Wright was also present.  

BUSINESS BEFORE THE BOARD:  Councilman Montoya motioned, seconded by Councilman Kaufman, to approve Resolution #7-2023 approving the FY 2023/2024 Budget. Motion passed 

3-0.  RESOLUTION #07-2023

A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS TO DEFRAY ALL THE NECESSARY EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE TOWN OF WHEATLAND, WYOMING SPECIFYING THE OBJECTS, PURPOSES AND AMOUNTS OF SUCH APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2023 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2024.

Section 1:  It is estimated that the total amount of revenues that will be collected by the Town of Wheatland, Wyoming during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024, are in the amount of $14,663,931.49.
