CHAPTER 6, SECTION 2 CONSRUCTION/MODIFICATION PERMIT - Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality PUBLIC NOTICE:  In accordance with Chapter 6, Section 2(m) of the Wyoming Air Quality Standards and Regulations, notice is hereby given that the State of Wyoming, Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality, proposes to approve a request by Town of Wheatland to install and operate a portable air curtain burner at three (3) properties owned by the Town of Wheatland, the Wheatland Solid Waste Transfer Station, Wheatland’s Lewis Park and the Wheatland Cemetery.  The purpose of the Air Burner Model T24 Burn Boss is to incinerate green waste generated by the Town of Wheatland and received by the public at the Solid Waste Transfer Station. The Air Burner Model T24 Burn Boss is powered by a 12.5 hp Kubota diesel fired generator engine.

For the duration of the public comment period, the permit application, the agency’s analysis, and the public notice are available for public inspection online at https://openair.wyo.gov, utilizing facility ID F031162 and permit number P0036454 under permits. This material may also be viewed online, at the above URL, utilizing a public computer at the Platte County Library, Wheatland, Wyoming.  Additionally, for the duration of the public comment period a copy of this public notice is available for public inspection at the Platte County Clerk’s Office, Wheatland, Wyoming.  In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, special assistance or alternate formats will be made available upon request for individuals with disabilities.
