Supt Lockman updated the Board on the graveling they have done. It was decided to forgo chip sealing this summer and concentrate on graveling roads. Lockman is also looking into the purchase of new or used loader. Planner Ervin updated the Board on Planning Office business. Jordan Ham with Pro River Tech provided cost estimates on upgrading the current web filtering software versus going with new. It was decided the best option is with Sophos. He will be working with Emergency Management Coordinator Stevenson to determine if this will be eligible for grant funds. Commissioner Kontour moved and Johnston seconded to appoint the Platte County Record-Times as the official county newspaper. The motion carried. Comissioner Johnston moved and Kontour seconded to approve the request to transfer $79.30 from Detention account #100.416.0210 Supplies to account #100.416.0280 Uniforms. The motion carried. Commissioner Kontour moved and Johnston seconded to renew the Platte County Trap Club lease through January 7, 2020. The motion carried. Commissioner Kontour moved and Johnston seconded to approve the Platte County Public Health Community Assistance Program which will provide financial assistance to individuals in need on a one time per year basis using donated funds. The motion carried. Commissioner Johnston moved and Kontour seconded to approve Resolution #2018-1 entitled: Amendment to the 2017-18 Budget. The motion carried. WHEREAS: the County of Platte has received unanticipated revenue by virtue of Cincinnati Insurance Companies in the amount of $20,658.13; and WHEREAS: pursuant to Wyoming State Statute §16-4-113, the budget of the General fund may be increased by resolution of the governing body. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, to amend the County budget to Platte County account #100.413.0500 (Courthouse – Building Maintenance) in the amount of $20,658.13. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of January 2018.
