WHEATLAND –  The Wheatland Lady Bulldog wrestlers took 2nd Place overall at the Southeast Team Duals this weekend on their home turf. 

In the first Ladies match, Lingle-Ft. Laramie/Southeast defeated Wheatland, 48-18, 

Then went on to round two wins against Glenrock, 24-18, and round three wins over Burns/Pine Bluffs, 24-18.

Round one saw Mitchell, Nebraska beat out the Wheatland boys, 54-22, then the Bulldogs rallied to defeat Hay Springs 24-12 in Match 2. The Bulldogs fell to Bridgeport, Nebraska in the 3rd round, 54-18; then pinned Crawford, Nebraska, 36-30, in the fourth match for a guaranteed 7th place.
