RIVERTON – The Bulldogs held out for some wins at the Ron Thon Memorial Varsity Wrestling Tournament in Riverton last week. 

There was stiff competition for the Bulldogs with 40 other schools competing, and the girls' bracket included a record 268 participants. Lady 'Dawg, Ariel Kumelos,  grappled her way to  number 2 overall in the 130-lb category before the last whistle with a 7-3 decision favoring Laramie's McKenna Barham. Senior Jessie Graves,  won her fifth-place match in the 190-lb bracket by pinning Star Valley's Stella Lind with a seven-second fall.
