WHEATLAND — It was a busy week at the Service for Seniors Activity Center as the festivities started off with a cheerful visit from Renee McKain and Ashley Wilhelm’s kindergarten classes. A Wellness Breakfast was enjoyed by those attending with important information shared by Myiah Bornhoft, RPh (pharmacist) and Sydney Seymour, a pharmacy tech from Banner Health. Eight seniors took advantage of the breakfast. A game of wellness bingo followed the breakfast.
On Valentine’s Day, 25 seniors came to play Valentine’s Day Bingo and enjoyed special holiday treats such as chocolate covered strawberries, heart-shaped meat and cheese trays, and other fresh berries. “There was a sea of red and pink shirts in the crowd,” Kafka said. “What a good way to spend the afternoon together: playing bingo and eating yummies!”
