MOORCROFT – The final gun sounded for the Vikings last Friday night as they traveled to Moorcroft as their season came to a close.

Moorcroft, who came into the game also without a season victory defeated the Vikings 72-6. Moorcroft snapped a 17-game losing skid. For the Vikings it was a learning season and one for character building.

Starting freshman quarterback who had been feeling more comfortable in the role as field general took a brutal hit and had to come out of the game. The bench which has been sparse all year was down to one reserve for the major part of the game.

“Nobody likes to see the season come to an end but as we move forward into other activities we want to thank the parents and the fans for their positive support all season long,” head coach Curtis Cook said. “I couldn't be prouder of these boys especially our seniors and we wish them well in their futures; we know they will do great things.”

The Vikings end their season 0-8 in their inaugural year in Wyoming Class 1A 9-man football.
