Former Chugwater graduate inducted to National Society of Collegiate Scholars

CHUGWATER – Sabryna Schaffer, 2020 graduate of Chugwater High School has already accomplished much in her life after graduation.

She has already graduated from Eastern Wyoming College in 2021 with 2 degrees in criminal justice and social science and one certificate in criminology. Currently she is about to graduate again, this time from Grand Canyon University with a BS in justice studies.

In addition to her many other accolades, she has accepted an invitation of a lifetime membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) which is the nation’s leading certified honor society for high-achieving first and second-year college students with a minimum of a 3.0 grade point average.

Schaffer graduated with honors from Chugwater High School, maintained a 4.0 GPA from EWC and is about to graduate from GCU with a solid 4.0 GPA.

The NSCS is an honors organization that invites less than 10% of all eligible students nationwide to its membership. The organization is made up of scholars from two-year, four-year and online institutions.

“NSCS is more than just a symbol of academic achievement; it is a distinction of honor,” NSCS Founder Steve Loflin said. “Our scholars are some of the best of the best who have shown an unwavering commitment to academic excellence early in their collegiate journey. These dynamic individuals embody the NSCS pillars of scholarship, leadership, service and many go on to become active contributors within their respective fields. We welcome Sabryna Schaffer to our community of like-minded, high achieving nationwide scholars.”

Schaffer is currently working for the Cheyenne Police Department as a Community Service Officer.
