CASPER – The Bulldog track teams got a chance to showcase their talents at the Trojan Invite last Thursday at Kelly Walsh High School.
Wheatland was supposed to have back-to-back meets this past week by hosting their second invite of the year, but poor weather canceled the event.
“The weather threw us another curveball this week,” Matt Hazen, Bulldog head track coach said. “We had some amazingly nice weather most of the week, but the weather shut down our home meet for Friday, April 14. Thankfully, we were able to take the team to Kelly Walsh in Casper on Thursday and let the athletes enjoy their third track meet of what is seeming to be a very short season. With only three weeks of the regular season left the athletes are pushing hard to improve their marks from the previous two meets. We had more athletes qualify for the state meet and a lot of personal records for many athletes.”
