WHEATLAND - The Wheatland Bulldogs wrestled Mitchell, NEB. last week at home and came away with a dominant victory.
The Bulldogs got pins from Colter Gutty, Jake Hicks, Keegan Meyer, Ethan Read, Seth Dewitt, Kye Hicks, Cross Hernandez, Robert Hendon, and Devin Weber. They defeated Mitchell 57-15.
Wheatland carried their momentum into the Blazer dual Tournament in Torrington on Saturday. They won five duals on the day defeating, Glenrock, Buffalo, Pinebluffs/Burns, Torrington, and Laramie. Wheatland won the tournament going unbeaten on the day and had a great showing from several wrestlers. Devin Weber, Keegan Meyer, Seth DeWitt, and Wyatt Crane won all their matches. The team collected 29 pins along the way to a Championship weekend.
The Bulldogs will be in Torrington again on Tuesday for another day of duals before heading to Lander for the weekend.
