HARTVILLE—Each year, the U.S. post office at Hartville serves as an official Valentine cancellation station, a special designation made by the U.S. Postal Service for towns across the country that have a special connection to the holiday through the name of their town.
The Friends of Hartville 2018 Valentine postal cancellation stamp will be available for items mailed beginning Feb. 7 through Feb. 21 at the Hartville Post Office.
Anyone wishing to receive the special cancellation stamp may bring their Valentine mail to the post office or send their items to: Valentine Station Postmaster, P.O. Box 9998, Hartville, WY 82215. All mail submitted for cancellation must be pre-stamped with postage and fully addressed.
