PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF ROAD VACATION
COUNTY OF PLATTE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners shall consider a request to alter and/or vacate County Roads 110-A and 182, both of which are located in Township 24 North, Range 65 West of the 6th Principal Meridian. The petitioners have requested that County Road 110-A be altered and commence at the southwest corner of Section 24, Township 24 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Wyoming and running thence due east one and three-quarter miles (1 ¾) miles and then north along the quarter corner of the SW¼ SE¼ of Section 19, Township 24 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Wyoming and running thence due north approximately one-half (½) mile and the remainder of the road along sections 19, 20, 21 and 16 in Township 24 North, Range 65 West of the Principal Meridian be vacated. They further request that County Road 182 be vacated from the southwest corner of the SE¼ NE¼ of Section 18 to its current terminating location described as the northwest corner of Section 29. The Board of County Commissioners shall accept public comment on the request at the hour of 10:30 A.M., on the 16th day of April 2024, in the Commissioners’ Room, County Courthouse, 800 9th Street, Wheatland, Wyoming. All objections thereto or claims for damages by reason thereof must be filed in writing with the county clerk of said county, before noon on the 15th day of April 2024 or such road may be vacated without reference to such objections or claims for damages. Notice is hereby given by Malcolm Ervin, Platte County Clerk, on the 3rd and 10th days of April 2024.
