Plans will be available on February 1, 2018 for the project known as the PLA01 West Elementary School - HVAC Upgrade, 201 20th St., Wheatland, Wyoming 82201. Sealed bids will be received by the Platte County School District No.1 at the PCSD Central Facilities, 1350 Oak Street, Wheatland, Wyoming 82201 on March 1, 2018 until 2:00 p.m. local time. Bids will be publicly opened for labor and materials to construct the West Elementary School - HVAC Upgrade, 201 20th St., Wheatland, Wyoming 82201.
A single contract will be awarded for the Demolition, General, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical work as drawn and specified in the Plans and Specifications. Bid security will be required. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract will also be required. Wyoming preference laws will apply. The estimated value of this remodel construction is approximately $1,130,000.00.

Plan holders are parties that have downloaded the plans and specifications. Plan holders will be notified via email as addenda are issued. Parties that download the plans and specifications and need to have them printed elsewhere are solely responsible for those printing costs. A mandatory pre-bid site visit for General Contractors and Major Subcontractors will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. local time on February 16, 2018 at the project site, 201 20th St., Wheatland, Wyoming 82201.
The project consists of a remodel and upgrade to the existing HVAC system in the existing elementary school. New lay-in ceiling and lighting will also be provided in this project. The work includes miscellaneous demolition, miscellaneous steel member modifications and additions, coated foamed roofing patches, suspended acoustical tile ceilings, interior painting; air handling units with ductwork and rooftop condensing units, plumbing, electrical devices, wiring, and light fixtures; fire alarm system, and other miscellaneous items.
