WHEATLAND – The 10U Lady Lobos defeated Torrington twice last Thursday night in a double-header at Lewis Park.
The first game saw a lot of fireworks off the bats from both teams as the Lobos defeated Torrington 15-11 in a close and heated contest. The second game saw less scoring, but provided some good softball from most of the girls who still aren’t in the double-digit age range.
“The girls played really well,” Lady Lobos head coach Brian Connell said. “In the first game our defense was on point and our pitchers were throwing a higher percentage of strikes.”
