The Platte County Historical Society will host a program featuring Gail Thompson who will present “A Long Journey to Halleck Creek,” and share stories about how many small homesteads became large ranches here in the American West using the Flying X Ranch as an example. The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Platte County Library on Tuesday, January 25th and is open to all.
Gail is a long-time member of the Platte County Historical Society, and one of the original partners of the Flying X Ranch.
