WHEATLAND – Wheatland High School hosted the junior-senior prom on Saturday. The Grand March was held at the WHS Auditorium at 8:30 p.m. with parents, family, and friends in attendance.
Over 35 couples were announced for the community to see as they walked under an arch with a “Masquerade” theme. The dance was hosted at the 10th Street Social, a local venue used for events, receptions, and get-togethers. The venue was turned into a dance floor with DJ Majik as the entertainer with a photo booth available for students to “capture the moment.”
Royalty was announced at 11 p.m. with seniors Aunnaleia Spieker and Caid Diamond Graves voted as Queen and King for the night. They received crowns, sashes, flowers, and a couple’s dance. The night was a success and filled with fun and laughter for the local youths.
