Veterans assistance in Laramie and Platte counties

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services around Wyoming cities throughout July.

 

Edward McAuslan is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. McAuslan can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims, or request healthcare.

 

His office is located at the Joint Force Readiness Center, 5800 Central Ave., in Cheyenne, and he will be available at the following locations:

 

  • Guernsey: Wednesday, July 5, at the Guernsey Senior Center, 100 S. Wyoming Ave., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Douglas: Thursday, July 6, at the Douglas Workforce Center, 311 N. Russell Ave., Ste. B, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Wheatland: Wednesday, July 12, at the Workforce Services Center, 1958 W. Mariposa Pkwy., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
