BHSU Team Camps

SPEARFISH, SOUTH DAKOTA – The WHS boys basketball team traveled to Spearfish, South Dakota on June 13 - 15 for a summer team camp. The boys competed in an upper JV division as they had a mix of ages due to the busy days of summer. The boys played seven games, finishing with a winning record and enjoyed the beautiful campus settled in the Black Hills.
The WHS girls basketball team also traveled to Spearfish last week, June 20 – 22. They took advantage of the outdoors and engaged in some team bonding activities. The lady Bulldogs played in the lower varsity division, finishing 4-1 just coming up short to Bismarck, North Dakota.

Travel Softball
ARVADA, COLORADO – Camryn Mickelsen (WHS 2025 Grad) plays for the travel softball team, Cheyenne Extreme. Her age group went 6-0 at the “Don’t Call Me Blue Tournament,” a USSSA Fast Pitch event in Arvada, Colorado last weekend. They earned the championship title tallying outstanding statistics: 44 runs scored, 37 RBI’s, Batting Avg. of 0.350, and solid pitching from the mound with an ERA of 2.962.
