WHEATLAND – In the month of July local seniors made a patriotic craft, attended Bingo and cribbage games weekly, and attended a Medicare 101 with Cathy Carlisle. Then to finish of the month off at the Services for Seniors Activities Center, there was a day of cornhole games on Thursday the 25th.
“The seniors had a ball playing cornhole games, we’re going to schedule it again in our upcoming calendar dates,” activities director Carrie Kafka said. “It’s fun to see all of our seniors being active and having fun together. Once again it’s the little things that mean the most: from Patriotic crafts to playing cornhole together! The smiles and laugher and fellowship is simply a beautiful thing.”
