Unapproved Record – The Board of County Commissioners, Platte County, Wyoming, met on the 5th day of March 2024 in the county seat of Wheatland. Those present for the meeting were Steve Shockley, Commission Chairman; Kayla Mantle, Commissioner; and Cary Shubert, Deputy County Clerk. Chairman Shockley called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Commissioner Mantle motioned, seconded by Commissioner Shockley, to approve the agenda as presented. The motion carried. Agreements for Consideration: Commissioner Mantle motioned, seconded by Commissioner Shockley, to approve memorandum of agreements, between Platte County School District #1 and Platte County School District #2 and Platte County establishing and improving the School Resource Officer program. The motion carried. Sick Leave Donations: Commissioner Mantle motioned, seconded by Commissioner Shockley, to approve the donation of 100.48 hours of sick leave from five employees to one. Tax Cancellation, Tax Refund and Tax Modification: Danette Eppel, County Assessor, presented three tax cancellations, one tax refund and one tax modification for consideration. Commissioner Mantle motioned, seconded by Commissioner Shockley, to approve the three tax cancellations for Riley Hunter and Heather Depra for tax year 2023 in the sum of $318.78, tax cancellation for Adrianne Ridnour for tax year 2023 in the sum of $105.19, tax cancellation for Lynn and Carolyn Foster for tax year 2023 in the sum of $126.96 with a refund in the sum of $126.96 and to approve the tax modification for Joseph J and Vicki A Mesa for tax year 2023 in the amount of $536.67. The motion carried. Building Certificates: Doug Dumont, County Planner, presented two building certificates for approval. The first building certificate from Darwin and Julie Van Dyke in Prairie View Estates Subdivision and the second from Crowcreek Homes LLC in Lakeshore Tracts Subdivision. The Board reviewed, and approved, the Building Certificates as presented. There being no further business for board consideration, the meeting adjourned at approximately 11:10 AM.
