NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR SUMMARY
DECREE OF DISTRIBUTION
To any interested person, you are hereby notified that on October 26, 2022, PHYLLIS WEBER THALKEN aka Phyllis Marie Thalken, died testate in Douglas, Converse County, Wyoming. At the time of her death, she owned mineral interests in the following described real property in Platte County, Wyoming. On July 17, 2023, Katheryn A. Watson, the Decedent’s daughter and Trustee of the Thalken Family Trust dated August 12, 2014, filed an Application for Summary Decree of Distribution in the District Court of the Eighth Judicial District, Platte County, Wyoming, pursuant to the provisions of W.S. § 2-1-205 to establish the right and title in the name of the THALKEN FAMILY TRUST DATED August 12, 2014, which is the sole devisee of the Decedent’s Last Will and Testament, in and to the Decedent’s interests in the following described property located in Platte County, Wyoming and more particularly described as:
A 25% mineral interest in the following lands:
Township 26 North, Range 66 West, 6th P.M.
Section 25: SW/4NW/4
And
A 1% Royalty Interest in the following lands:
Township 24 North, Range 66 West, 6th P.M.
Section 26: S/2
Said Application for Summary Decree of Distribution of Property is on file and available for inspection in the office of the Clerk of the District Court, Platte County, Wyoming. If there are no objections to said Petition after publication of this notice once a week for two consecutive weeks and if it appears that the facts set forth in the Petition are not in dispute, the Court will enter a Decree of Distribution establishing the right and title of the THALKEN FAMILY TRUST DATED August 12, 2014, to the property.
