Pursuant to the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act and the Wyoming Public Service Commission’s (Commission) Rules, notice is hereby given of the Application of Wheatland Rural Electric Association (WREA or the Cooperative), for authority to update costs on its Miscellaneous Charge tariff sheets.
WREA is a public utility as defined in Wyo. Stat. § 37-1-101(a)(vi)(C), subject to the Commission’s jurisdiction pursuant to Wyo. Stat. § 37-2-112.
On May 18, 2022, the Cooperative filed its Application requesting authority to update costs on its Miscellaneous Charge Sheets MC 1 and MC 2. WREA proposes increases for charges related to payments, equipment, mileage, and labor costs. WREA proposes a decrease for its Net Metering Avoided Cost rate from $0.04204 per kWh to $0.04036 per kWh. The Cooperative also proposes a decrease to the hourly charge for its hydraulic vactor equipment.
This is not a complete description of the Application. WREA’s Application is on file at the Commission’s offices in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and is available for inspection regular business hours or online at: http://dms.wyo.gov/external/publicusers.aspx (enter Record 17057).
Anyone desiring to file a public comment, statement, intervention petition, protest or request for a public hearing in this matter must file with the Commission in writing on or before June 23, 2022.
