Take notice that Croell, Inc. has filed an application for a Rezone request. The request is to rezone 48.1 acres from Agriculture to Industrial zoning. The purpose for the request is to continue conducting their concrete batch and wash plants. In addition, Croell would like to operate a temporary hot mix asphalt plant on the site. The area in question is described as part of Sections 36, Township 24 North, Range 68 West. The physical address of the property is 245 S. Wheatland Highway, Wheatland, WY 82201.
There will be two public hearings in order to review this request. The first public hearing will be before the Planning & Zoning Commission on Wednesday, August 14th, 2019 at 7:00 PM. The second public hearing will be before the Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Both of these meetings will be held in the Commissioners Chambers, located in the basement of the Platte County Courthouse (800 9th Street, Wheatland).

PUBLIC NOTICE
Unapproved Record of the July 23, 2019 Proceedings of the Platte County Commissioners in Wheatland, WY – A special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners was called to order at 9:00 AM pursuant to Wyoming State Statute §16-4-404(b) with the following present: Sandy Kontour, Chairman; Steve Shockley, Commissioner; Malcolm Ervin, County Clerk; and Aaron Clark, County Fire Warden. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the implementation of a county-wide fire ban, approve a payment for emergency fire suppression premiums, and to consider a contract for I.T. services. Resolution #2019-9: Mr. Shockley motioned, seconded by Ms. Kontour, to approve Resolution #2019-9, titled, “Declaring a Fire Ban in Platte County due to Fire Danger.” The motion carried. A complete copy of said resolution is available in the Clerk’s Office or online at plattecountywyoming.com. Voucher Payment: Mr. Shockley motioned, seconed by Mr. Jolovich, to approve a payment to the Wyoming State Forestry Division in the amount of $8,298.94 for Fire Suppression Account premiums. The motion carried. I.T. Contract Consideration: A contract for managed I.T. services was presented to the Commissioners by Wyoming Wireless. Clerk Ervin addressed some of the concerns presented by County Attorney Doug Weaver. Tom Overstreet, Pro River Technology, spoke about the transition period. The Commissioners indicated they would like a contract with Wyoming Wireless to go into effect on September 1, 2019, but no formal action was taken.
