WHEATLAND — The Platte County Education Association (PCEA) held a t-shirt design contest for students in Platte County School District No. 1 grades K-12. The winning designs were chosen by the PCEA. The first place winner was awarded $50, with second place being awarded $25. Ashley Hanks, a second grader at Libbey Elementary, won first place and her design will go on t-shirts for the association. Landri Vaughn, a second grader at Libbey Elementary, won second place with her A+ Teachers design, and her logo will go on polo shirts for the association.
