Wheatland Middle School encouraged acts of kindness for National Kindness Week, which was Feb. 11-17.
Students were given a list of 50 random acts of kindness and challenged to see how many they could complete in four days. The school reported a great response from students and that students’ kindness spread out into the local community.
Wheatland Middle School students completed 428 acts of kindness during National Kindness Week, with a single student, Neveah Kuebel, completing the most at 161. Kuebel received a basket full of goodies as a reward for her kindness.
Three other Wheatland Middle School students, Haylei Neal, Jillian Sands and Eli Jaren, completed all 50 acts. They received five free games of bowling each, donated by Smitty’s Lanes.
