Governor Mark Gordon stopped in Wheatland on Monday to visit with the community and civic leaders about the wildfire restoration and recovery program proposals in the 2025 supplemental budget currently being considered by the Wyoming Legislator. The governor is traveling around the state to participate in forums discussing a fire mitigation and restoration fund which he would like to be used to restore grass, hay, and forage lost due to last summer’s fires.
