CHEYENNE – Governor Mark Gordon has ordered the Wyoming State Flag be flown at half staff at the Capitol in Cheyenne and in Converse and Platte Counties from sunrise to sunset on Monday, January 6 in honor and memory of Frank Peasley. Mr. Peasley represented Converse and Platte Counties in House District 3 in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 2009-2012. He passed away Jan. 3, 2025.
In accordance with U.S. flag code, U.S. and Wyoming flags will remain at half-staff statewide until sunset on Jan. 28 in recognition of the passing of President Jimmy Carter on Dec. 29, 2024.
