WHEATLAND – The Platte County Historical Society will host Archivist Suzi Taylor at the Platte County Library at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28.
Join us for an evening of captivating stories as Taylor shares a selection of favorite photographs from the Wyoming State Archives’ historic collection. Discover the fascinating tales behind wildlife “selfies,” the rise of early industries in Platte County, the lives of homesteaders, and the grandeur of Wyoming’s hunting lodges. Suzi’s expertise in visual materials and 20 years of experience at the Archives will bring Wyoming history to life through these captivating appealing images.
The Platte County Historical Society is a chapter of the Wyoming Historical Society. Membership includes receiving Annals of Wyoming three times a year, Wyoming History News, notices of special events such as treks to historic sites, award opportunities, and more.
