WHEATLAND – The Platte County Extension office’s “Inspire WYou” program is putting its first-ever “Elevate Your Mindset” workshop on April 26, and is inviting the community to participate.
The workshop will feature keynote speaker KC Murphy, a life coach who also runs Rise Up Kings and owns Capstone Industries. Other speakers include Becca Valleroy from Hand and Physical Therapy of Wyoming, Shelly Marker of Holy Sprouts will share how being “grounded” can help keep your mind and body healthy, Stacy Buchholz from Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative discuss how caretakers also need to take care of themselves, and Dixie Mount, who will share how journaling and writing things down can help de-stress your life.
“This workshop is for anyone who could use a little more positivity in your life, or would like to connect with others in Platte County,” Mary Evans said. She is the Community Vitality and Health educator at the Platte County Extension Office. “I’m excited about this event, because there will be a lot of information shared that will help people learn how easily they can reduce stress in their lives. It’s a great opportunity.”
Elevate Your Mindset is open to anyone in the community but is limited to 50 participants. Registration will be $40 and include all course materials, lunch and refreshments. The event will be on Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Platte County Agriplex. For more information or to register (by April 17), contact Evans at the extension office, or call 307-322-3667.
