Kent Wagner, 64, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in Wheatland surrounded by his family.
Duane Wagner was born on Saturday, March 28, 1959, in Wheatland, the son of Wesley and Randena (Baker) Wagner.
Duane was reared and educated in Wheatland and went to work construction with his older brothers and father. Throughout his life Duane had worked construction and concrete, drove truck, and was a large equipment operator.
Duane was a really big NASCAR fan. He also loved fishing, camping, model cars, and making fishing lures.
He is survived by his children, Brandi (Don) Buckley and James (Victoria) Wagner; and Janet Wagner; siblings, Debbie Havard, Phyllis Hageman, LaVonna Melius, David Wagner, and Dewight Wagner; and grandchildren, Ethan Buckley, Liam Wagner, and Emersyn Wagner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Wesley Wagner Jr., Linda Johnson, and Kerry Wagner.
A service will be held at a later date.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements.
