Douglas Loren Keeler was born on April 22, 1950, in Arvada, Colorado to the late Helen and William Keeler.
He was preceded in death by 2 nephews and is survived by his siblings: Dick, Don, and Diana; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and grandnieces.
Dougie is also survived by his best friends, guardians, and advocates: Kirby and Lynn Wilson and family.
Doug fell in love with Wheatland in the 90’s after visits to his uncle Roy and moved there; swearing to never leave.
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff of the Platte County Legacy Home for their loving care, to many citizens of Wheatland, and the senior center for their loving kindness.
Doug had many struggles and hardships throughout his life; but he always had an optimistic attitude that things would work out.
Ride on, Dougie. We are sure that you have a Harley in Heaven. Thank you Kirby and Lynn Wilson and the family of Doug Keeler.
