County Road and Bridge Superintendent Jim Lockman is retiring this year, according to minutes from the regular Platte County Board of Commissioners meeting held Feb. 6.
Lockman told the commission his last day with the county will be April 6.
In other discussion, commissioners heard from Jordan Ham and Tom Overstreet, who reviewed the scope of work to provide information technology service and relocate the county’s IT department to a temporary location in case of a courthouse renovation.
