WHEATLAND – The PCAG Artist of the month for Jan/Feb is Tammy Driscoll Whitford. Tammy was born in Wheatland and has lived here most of her life.
When she was twelve, she got a Kodak Star 110 for her birthday, and she fell in love with photography. She has always enjoyed going for drives and hikes with her camera. Her love for nature and wildlife has really inspired her. “If God paints a spectacular sunset, I want to be there to capture it forever!”
Whitford gets lots of encouragement from her family and friends. She has also gotten interested in all kinds of crafting. Pinecones are her current “fav” subject. Whitford just recently got elected as president of the Platte County Art Guild. You can view Whitford’s artwork at Dance Wyoming studio on Gilchrist Street in Wheatland throughout the months of January and Februrary.
