WHEATLAND – A winter storm that came blasting in after the ball dropped on New Year’s Eve dumped wet, heavy snow into the region and Platte County still sits under a winter storm warning until Jan. 2 at 11 p.m.

Public Notice BEFORE THE OIL AND GAS CONSERVATION COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF WYOMING The Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (WOGCC) will meet at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, and WOGCC Examiners will meet beginning Monday, January 9, 2023, and subsequent days between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., to consider the following matters at the office of the State Oil and Gas Supervisor, 2211 King Boulevard, Casper, Wyoming.
WHEATLAND – Going into their fourth year of ownership, Becky Hilty, from day one had it in her mind that their coffee company would be successful enough that it would need room to grow.
WHEATLAND – On Dec. 13, VFW Auxiliary Post No. 3558 received a shipment of 1,550 wreaths to the cemetery where city workers helped to unload the many boxes. The wreaths came in early due to a storm system that had been predicted.
WHEATLAND – The Platte County Sheriff’s Department, the Wyoming State Highway Patrol, the Wheatland Police Department, the Guernsey Police Department, local EMTs and the Wheatland Fire Department all got together Dec. 22 to participate in the holiday season’s “shop-with-a-cop” program.
