Homeland Security Grant: Mr. Jolovich motioned, seconded by Mrs. Mantle, to approve a grant award agreement between the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security and Platte County in the sum of $27,950.00. The motion carried. Tax Cancellations: Mrs. Mantle motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich, to approve a tax cancellation for Tax Year 2021 in the sum of $1,600.91 for John & Ruth Braunschweig. The motion carried. Mr. Jolovich motioned, seconded by Mrs. Mantle, to approve a tax cancellation for Tax Year 2021 in the sum of $293.93 for Blevins Living Trust. The motion carried. Impact Ministries: Jeremy Haroldson, minister for Impact Ministries, presented a petition to de-annex from the Town of Wheatland. Planner Clark informed the Commissioners that pursuant to Wyoming state statute within 60 days the County Commissioners shall prepare a report on the issue of de-annexing. Ms. Clark will complete that report and presented it to the Town of Wheatland for final approval. Road & Bridge: Superintendent Beal Angle presented an encroachment from Stuart Bienstock for approval. Mr. Angle spoke to the Commissioners about a number of road projects his department is undertaking, including culvert repairs on Horseshoe Creek Road. Courthouse Renovation Project: Greg Orr, Project Manager, spoke to the Commissioners about the timing of Sampson’s mobilization on the Courthouse. Sampson will be onsite the week of October 18th and begin staging. Mr. Orr provided an update on the revised mechanical system and said a final design will be provided in approximately five weeks. 4-H Building Reconstruction Project: Greg Orr, Project Manager, is working with Sampson Construction and Arete Design to close the project. Mr. Orr spoke about out-standing punch list items that need to be completed by Sampson Construction. Mr. Orr is in the process of auditing Sampson’s billed man-hours to verify pay applications made by Sampson. Maintenance Department: Jim DeWitt, maintenance supervisor, presented updates to the Commissioners about the project to relocate the courthouse to 2020 South Street. Mr. DeWitt is preparing the new location so the courthouse departments can move out during the renovation. There being no further business the meeting adjourned at approximately 11:45 P.M.
