Arete Design created three Proposal Requests (PR), the first is to increase the fire line from a 4” line to a 6”; to cover the walls inside the main ballroom with drywall; and to drywall the vaulted ceiling. Ms. Smith said her, and some of her neighbors’, taxes increased by numerous hundreds of dollars. Therefore, Ms. Smith wanted to provide the Commissioners sufficient time to research the issue before a potential appeal next year. Daryl Tiltrum said the valuation of his house went up approximately 30%. County Assessor Danette Eppel explained why she compared East Oak Street and East Cole Street to determine value.
