PUBLIC NOTICE
UNAPPROVED RECORD OF THE FEBRUARY 26, 2019 PROCEEDINGS OF THE PLATTE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, WHEATLAND, WY – A special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners was called to order at 12:00, noon, pursuant to Wyoming State Statute §16-4-404(b) with the following present: Sandy Kontour, Chairman; Steve Shockley, Commissioner; Ian Jolovich, Commissioner; Malcolm Ervin, County Clerk; and Greg Orr, Construction Manager. The purpose of the meeting was to hold a public meeting to consider three items: concurrence with the WYDOT awarded bid to replace the Sybille Creek Bridge; to pay a Pro River Tech invoice; and to speak about recently submitted design proposals and future interviews of design & engineering firms for the courthouse renovation project. Sybille Creek Bridge: Mr. Shockley motioned, seconed by Mr. Jolovich, to approve Chairman Kontour to sign a letter to concur with the apparent low bid to replace the Sybille Creek Bridge. Pro River Tech invoice: Mr. Shockley motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich, to approve payment of Pro River Tech in the sum of $8,119.48. Design Proposals: Greg Orr presented design proposals submitted by numerous design companies. The proposals were to design and engineer the courthouse basement renovation project. Funding for the courthouse renovation project was approved by Platte County voters in the 2018 Primary election. Mr. Orr recommended two design firms be interviewed on March 5th and two design firms be interviewed on March 6th.
